In certain models the loadings combination definition can be a
tedious and time consuming process. STRAP contains powerful
options for generating many combinations with a minimum of
input. For example:
- Loads can be joined into combinations after execution and
the results viewed and sorted without rerunning the model.
- Group of load cases may be defined, e.g. crane or truck
loads. If the group is included in a combination, the
program automatically generates a series of combinations,
each containing one load case from the group.
- A library of commonly used loading combinations (from
various codes) can be created for future use.
